The daffodils at West Ilkerton are now in full bloom. I took this photo today because snow is forecast tonight, so tomorrow they'll have frostbite!
It is a very busy week on the farm. The cows and calves have been turned out into the fields, and all the sheds are being mucked out and disinfected ready for lambing. The ewes are heavily in lamb. They are being fed ewe nuts in the fields twice a day, and they will be housed by the beginning of next week.
We are also completing a hedgebank restoration project in Lane Meadow with the help of Michael, Mark and Andrew from Lyn Valley Contractors.
