RIP Barbrook Post Office.

Barbrook Post Office traded for the last time yesterday. It was a sad day for everyone who lives in and around Barbrook, and especially for Sally and Ian Gunn who ran the Post Office for over thirty years. Our nearest Post Office is now in Lynton, a nine mile round trip away, so letters and parcels will be posted from here on Mondays and Fridays only in future.
I took these pictures of Sally and Ian outside Barbrook Post Office this Tuesday, before the sign above the door had to be taken down.
